Peel Region Numismatic Group (‘PRNG’) was founded in August 2003 <\/strong>for the benefit of coin and banknote collectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Numismatics is the collection and study of money and related items, such as coins, banknotes, medals and tokens.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Please note that the PRNG members are private collectors, NOT commercial dealers.<\/p>\n

If you are wanting to sell your collection, we do not guarantee that members would be interested to purchase.<\/p>\n

Members and Visitors can:<\/span><\/strong>
\nMeet others with similar interests
\nExchange ideas and knowledge
\nBuy, sell or swap items<\/p>\n

All interested people are welcome to attend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visitors can attend up to three meetings in a calendar year, without having to pay for membership.<\/p>\n

If you want to attend more than three meetings, then please become a paid member – it’s not expensive!<\/p>\n

Meetings<\/span><\/strong>
\nMeetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month (except January and December).
\n6:00 pm to 8:00 pm<\/strong>
\nA different topic of interest is discussed at each meeting<\/p>\n

Access for Meetings:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Falcon Library\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Meeting Room 2\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The venue for the meetings is Falcon Library on the corner of Cobblers Road and Flavia Street in Falcon.<\/p>\n

Library Access<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Falcon Library closes at 6pm, but we have an after-hours pass.<\/p>\n

The pass only works on the rear doors, so best to drive around to the larger carpark at the rear of the building.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If coming from south<\/strong> of the library along the bypass road, turn left just before the Mercedes Avenue traffic lights.<\/p>\n

If coming from north<\/strong> of the library along the bypass road, turn right at the traffic island just after the Mercedes Avenue traffic lights.<\/p>\n

In either case, then turn right along Cobblers Street, then left on to Flavia St, then left into the library carpark.<\/p>\n

Fairs<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Stamp, Coin and Banknote fairs are generally held in April and November each year.
\nEach fair opens at 9am and closes at 3pm.<\/p>\n
